Rim
Straightening

Restore bent, out-of-round steel or alloy rims back to perfect circular specifications using hydraulic calibration presses.

Understanding Rim Straightening

Hitting potholes, speed bumps, or curbs can bend alloy or steel rims. A bent rim disrupts the wheel's circular balance, creating wobbles, vibrations, and slow air leaks because the tyre bead cannot sit flush against the warped metal.

Our workshop uses hydraulic straightening machinery to repair bends. We map the runout deviations with dial indicators and apply pressure to restore the rim's circular geometry, saving you replacement costs.

Our Straightening Process

1

Runout Diagnostics

The tyre is dismounted, and the rim is rotated to measure deviations in millimeters.

2

Hydraulic Pressing

Localized heat is applied to make the alloy malleable, and hydraulic pins push the flange back to roundness.

3

Bead Polishing & Balancing

We polish the bead sealing surface, remount the tyre, and check dynamic balance.

Benefits of Rim Straightening

Save Rims Cost

Repairing bent rims costs a fraction of buying a new factory alloy wheel assembly.

Stop Steering Shakes

Restores perfect circular geometry, removing wobbles and steering wheel feedback.

No More Bead Leaks

Allows the tyre bead to sit flush against the metal rim surface, stopping slow pressure leaks.

Prevent Suspension Damage

Eliminating wobbles prevents vibrations from wearing out shocks, control arm bushings, and bearings.
